AJARN WIRAT – TRADITIONAL SAK YANT MASTER IN BANGKOK
With more than 20 years of experience, Ajarn Wirat, also known as Ajarn Ex, is a traditional Sak Yant master based in Bangkok.
He has studied Pali, Sanskrit, and Ancient Khom script, knowledge that supports his understanding of traditional Sak Yant designs, sacred texts, and ceremonies.
Born in Bangkok in 1981, Ajarn Wirat began learning Sak Yant at the age of 17 under the guidance of his uncle, Ajarn Wat Klong Nung Rangsit. He continued developing his skills and later began practising Sak Yant professionally.
In 2001, at the age of 20, he entered monkhood and studied Dhamma, spiritual discipline, Pali, Sanskrit, and Ancient Khom. He completed Level 1 Dhamma studies during this period.
His monk name was Paphatharo (ปภาธโร). After leaving monkhood the following year, he returned to Sak Yant and has continued practising ever since.
Ajarn Wirat is known for his careful hand-poke technique, detailed work, calm manner, and respectful approach to traditional Sak Yant ceremony.

อาจารย์วิรัตน์ หรือที่หลายคนรู้จักในชื่อ “อาจารย์เอ็กซ์” มีประสบการณ์ด้านสักยันต์มากกว่า 20 ปี และเป็นครูสักยันต์แบบไทยดั้งเดิมในกรุงเทพฯ
ท่านได้ศึกษาภาษาบาลี สันสกฤต และอักษรขอมโบราณ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการทำความเข้าใจลายสักยันต์ บทอักขระ และพิธีกรรมตามแบบดั้งเดิม
อาจารย์วิรัตน์เกิดที่กรุงเทพฯ ในปี พ.ศ. 2524 และเริ่มเรียนรู้สักยันต์ตั้งแต่อายุ 17 ปี ภายใต้การถ่ายทอดความรู้จากคุณลุงของท่าน อาจารย์วัด คลองหนึ่ง รังสิต จากนั้นท่านได้ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาฝีมืออย่างต่อเนื่อง ก่อนเริ่มทำงานด้านสักยันต์อย่างจริงจัง
ในปี พ.ศ. 2544 เมื่ออายุ 20 ปี อาจารย์วิรัตน์ได้อุปสมบทเพื่อศึกษาธรรมะ วินัยทางจิตใจ ภาษาบาลี สันสกฤต และอักษรขอมโบราณ พร้อมทั้งศึกษาธรรมะระดับนักธรรมตรี
ในช่วงที่บวช ท่านได้รับฉายาทางสงฆ์ว่า ปภาธโร หลังจากลาสิกขาในปีถัดมา ท่านได้กลับมาสืบสานงานสักยันต์และทำต่อเนื่องมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน
อาจารย์วิรัตน์เป็นที่รู้จักในด้านการสักมือที่ละเอียด รอบคอบ มีบุคลิกสงบ และให้ความสำคัญกับประเพณีและพิธีกรรมของสักยันต์
