SAK YANT DESIGNS
Please read carefully before choosing your design.
Here at Thai Tattoo Cafe studio. We pay high respect to the Sak Yant tattoo art and follow the traditional way. We are very happy to help you with choosing your design. This is a magical Thai tattoo and it’s Thai Culture. A Sak Yant design, chanting, script, and praying are connected to Buddhism. This is not a fashion tattoo that you can get from anywhere and from anybody. You can copy a design and bring it to a tattoo shop and let a tattoo artist do it for you. Keep in mind that a Sak Yant tattoo design from Google and social media is not always correct. The script, meaning the language within the tattoo can be mistranslated. The tattoo artist doesn’t know the language and does not know that it is not correct. So what happens if the letter is not correct? The meaning of the word will change, missing some vital letters can turn a great tattoo into one of the worst. Please research and always do your homework when selecting the right Sak Yant Tattoo for you.
Before you look for a Sak Yant tattoo design. There are important things you need to know. Where is the correct placement to have on the body? Most of Sak Yant's tattoo designs are allowed to be placed above the waist. Some of the designs and symbols allow you to put them below the waist. Sak Yant designs are not allowed to be placed on the foot, woman's boobs, butt, or on the hips.
SOME SAK YANT TATTOOS ARE ALLOWED TO BE PLACED ON THE LEG. For example a tiger, eel, snake, crocodile, swan, turtle, bear, pig, lion, dragon, fox, dragon, fish, gecko, and some spell lettering. This needs to be done with specific chanting and spells that allow below the waist. We have had many people asking about this for a lot of time. People are shopping around and asking advice from local uneducated Thai people or some inexperienced tattoo shop. They are being informed that Sak Yant tattoos are not allowed below the waist. Which is totally false information. These tattoo shops do not own or design their own Sak Yant or know how to read it or write Ancient Thai Khom. They do not know much about Sak Yant. These tattoo shops copy/steal Sak Yant tattoo designs from Google or steal designs from Sak Yant Masters to make their own. Even worse is that they post it up on their own business website, remove our business watermark without permission, and change it to theirs! This is highly disrespectful. Please make sure that you are getting the correct Sak Yant Tattoo from an experienced Sak Yant business. Just ask them if they can read, write, and know the meaning. If they cannot then you know that they are not the right artist for you.

Important!
All the designs below come with the name, meaning, and a number of the design. When you have decided which design you like, please let us know the number of the design and include the name as well.
The middle shoulder
A Yant Gao Yord or Yant Kru. This is a master Yantra. It has to be in the middle of the back above the shoulder blades right below the neck only. They look a bit different because created by different masters. They represent the same thing.

Above the waist

Above and on the leg
Those designs below can be placed on any spot on the body and below the leg. On some designs when placed below the waist, some lettering and some symbols need to be corrected by the master.
