WHY AFTERCARE MATTERS IN BANGKOK
Bangkok’s warm climate can mean more sweating and sun exposure during your stay. During healing, keep your tattoo clean, avoid unnecessary touching or friction, and follow the instructions given by your tattoo artist.
Once your tattoo is fully healed, protecting it from UV exposure can help reduce fading. Dermatologists recommend broad-spectrum, water-resistant SPF 30 or higher for tattooed skin exposed to the sun.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE YOUR TATTOO HEALS
Some redness, mild swelling, soreness, itching, flaking, or light scabbing can occur as a new tattoo heals.
Do not pick or scratch peeling skin or scabs. Follow the specific cleaning and aftercare instructions given by your tattoo artist.
Contact a medical professional if redness spreads or becomes darker, pain gets worse instead of improving, or you develop pus, open sores, fever, chills, or other signs of infection.
