The Thai Tattoo Café brings a Sak Yant master to the US, UK, Europe, and some other countries sometimes to perform magical Sak Yant ceremonies, and to share a culturally unique practice.

Ajarn starts the process with a silent prayer, moving on to creating the tattoo using the traditional hand poke method; finally, the blessing is given and the Ajarn accepts his new disciple into his life.

A Parn Kru – Making an Sak Yant Offering:
Different sak yant master will accept different items for their Parn Kroo Offering. Some Sak Yant master will accept Thai rum, cigarette or traditional Thai chewing gum. The most important items to be included in your Parn Kroo is one of the following: A flower, candle, incense and money.
Yok pan Kru – Giving your offering:
This part of the Sak Yant process shows the master that you are ready to be a disciple and that you are willing to follow the Sak Yant rules that will allow the magic of the Sak Yant to take place. This action also shows respect to the Sak Yant master and the Sak Yant tradition. To give your offering to the Sak Yant master, kneel forward so that you are face-to-face with the master and about 30cm away. Pass the offering pan to the Sak Yant master while looking down. While you are doing this, he will perform the first blessing.
Rub Karn Sak Yant - Getting Your Sak Yant Tattoo:
Do your best to remain still. Focus on controlling your breathing as if meditating. If you need a break, ask for one.
UK TOUR UPDATE.
We are working with the shop in London on the paperwork. We are getting a work permit and work visa to visit this time. We will let you know when we can set a new date. Thank you for reaching out.
USA TOUR UPDATE.
We are not able to travel to the US till next year. we are so sad about this news but this is not a surprise as the visa processing took too long. The work permit has expired by the time we get the visa and that is nothing we can do. We will need to apply for a new work permit. We will update you as soon as a work permit is approved for the new tour date. Hopefully in early 2024.
